Job summary

Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC) manages community recreation programs and activities as part of the Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) division. The incumbent will plan, promote, and implement activities while seeking partnerships with community organizations and businesses to support base-wide events.

Qualifications

• Combination of experience related to customer service and or activity based programming.
• Ability to work independently, make sound decisions and communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Knowledge of planning, organizing, and conducting activities for diverse groups.

Responsibilities

• Plan, promote and implement a variety of MWR or Community Recreation programs and activities.
• Seek partnerships with community organizations and businesses in support of MWR programs and base-wide events.
• Maintain a clear and accurate database and represent the department to groups of varying sizes.
