Job summary

Professional Engineering Consultants seeks a Commissioning Team Lead in Wichita, KS to oversee a commissioning team and drive project delivery. You will mentor staff, manage risk and budgets, and ensure safety, quality and PEC standards are met across projects.

You'll collaborate with the VP of Engineering, define scope and fees, and participate in recruitment as needed. Travel to project sites is required; you will lead multiple projects to successful completion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction or related field preferred.
• Minimum seven (7) years of industry experience.
• Strong leadership and staff development skills.
• Ability to manage risk, budgets and schedules.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership including technical operations, mentoring of staff, risk of financial management, and customer service.
• Perform and/or direct the commissioning process on projects.
• Ensure commissioning processes are understood and implemented by all staff.
• Review submittals to ensure alignment with contract requirements and PEC standards.
• Develop scope of work, schedules and fees for proposed contracts.
