Job summary
The Peterson Company is seeking a skilled and dependable Commercial Plumber to serve as the New Lead Install/Service Technician. You will lead plumbing technicians in the field, oversee installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of commercial plumbing systems, and ensure safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Ideal candidates bring strong knowledge of commercial plumbing, blueprint interpretation, and a commitment to safety.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Vocational plumbing apprenticeship completed.
- Current Indiana plumbing license.
- Minimum 8 years of plumbing experience, including 4 years in commercial plumbing.
- Knowledge of Indiana state plumbing code and OSHA regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor field plumbing technicians to ensure quality workmanship.
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial plumbing systems.
- Read and execute blueprints, specifications and plumbing codes.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good condition; manage job-site safety.
- Coordinate with customers, vendors, and team members; participate in meetings.
