Job summary

TRDI Enterprises in San Antonio, TX seeks a lead irrigation technician to assess, design, install, and troubleshoot commercial landscape irrigation systems. You will guide field teams, interpret plans, and ensure compliance with safety and licensing requirements.

You will train coworkers on component identification, controller operation, and proper installation practices, while maintaining accurate records and coordinating with customers and project managers.

Qualifications

• Current TCEQ Landscape Irrigator license in good standing is required.
• Demonstrated experience assessing, designing, installing, maintaining, and troubleshoots commercial irrigation systems.
• Ability to read irrigation drawings, specs, site plans, and manufacturer docs.

Responsibilities

• Lead project assessment, planning, and layout development for irrigation systems.
• Install, service, repair, and troubleshoot controllers, valves, sensors, and sprinklers.
• Program controllers, test zones, and ensure proper system operation and adjustments.
• Coordinate excavation, material staging, and site restoration for projects.
• Maintain accurate project records, including layouts, zone info, and as‑built docs.
• Provide daily technical direction and training to field staff.
