Job summary

Enervise is seeking a Lead Commercial & Industrial HVAC Installer in Columbus, OH to lead installation crews on large-scale projects. You will install, modify, and Commission HVAC systems such as RTUs, chillers, boilers, VRF/VRV, and ductwork, while ensuring safety and quality standards.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive field experience, and the ability to read drawings. Columbus-based position with competitive hourly wage and opportunities for overtime and full benefits.

Qualifications

7+ years of commercial/industrial HVAC installation experience.
EPA Universal Certification required.
OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and submittals.
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise HVAC installation commercial and industrial job projects.
Install, modify, and replace large-scale HVAC systems including RTUs, chillers, boilers, VRF/VRV systems, split systems, VAV systems, air handlers, ductwork, and hydronic piping.
Interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate system installation.
Coordinate daily jobsite activities with project managers, general contractors, subcontractors, and inspectors.
Ensure installations comply with local, state, and federal mechanical codes and OSHA safety standards.
Perform layout, equipment setting, rigging coordination, and startup preparation.
Train and mentor apprentices and junior installers.
Troubleshoot installation issues and provide field solutions.
Maintain accurate job documentation, material usage, and progress reports.
Ensure tools, equipment, and company vehicles are properly maintained.
