Job summary

Veracity Electric, Arlington, TX, seeks a Journeyman Electrician to perform electrical installations, support project productivity, mentor apprentices, and uphold safety and workmanship standards.

Ideal candidates have at least five years of commercial/industrial experience, can read blueprints, and are able to travel as required. Join a values-driven team focused on quality and growth.

Qualifications

• Valid TDLR Journeyman Electrician License.
• Minimum five years of electrical experience in commercial or industrial environments.
• Experience completing projects independently from start to finish.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to pass a drug screening.
• Valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Execute electrical wiring plans for lighting, intercom, power distribution, and other electrical systems.
• Install electrical apparatus, fixtures, lighting systems, and alarm systems.
• Install and maintain electrical distribution and safety components, including switches, breakers, disconnects, and panels.
• Connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks while ensuring compatibility and code compliance.
• Assemble and install conduit systems and route conductors through raceways.
• Perform preventative maintenance by inspecting, repairing, and replacing wiring and electrical components.
• Diagnose electrical malfunctions, hazards, and system failures and perform necessary repairs.
• Interpret blueprints, specifications, and electrical drawings.
• Mentor and assist apprentices in developing technical skills and safe work practices.
• Maintain productivity while ensuring quality workmanship and compliance with company standards.
• Follow all safety procedures and promote a culture of safety on every jobsite.
• Complete assigned work accurately and within project timelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support project success.
