Job summary

Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. (ICE) Data Services seeks a NY-qualified lawyer to support the Associate General Counsel on commercial licensing and strategic agreements across global units.

This hands-on role negotiates data and software licenses, service agreements, and redistribution terms; drafts templates; and advises on regulatory requirements while partnering with sales, product and finance teams.

Qualifications

• New York qualified lawyer with 5+ years PQE.
• In-house experience in financial services or markets.
• Experience with data licensing transactions and contract negotiation.
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (MiFID II, SEC, CFTC, GDPR, OFAC).
• Strong drafting, analysis and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate ICE Data Services agreements globally (customer/data sourcing).
• Assist in preparing RFIs/RFPs.
• Identify risk implications of business strategies.
• Ensure advice aligns with regulatory requirements and ICE policies.
• Liaise with ICE business areas for guidance as needed.
• Collaborate with sales, product and marketing during negotiations.
• Support the wider Legal team across EMEA and APAC.
• Be an enthusiastic and professional member of the legal department.
