Job summary

HITT Contracting Inc. in Falls Church, VA, is seeking a Project Manager to lead construction projects from planning through completion, ensuring on-time delivery, budget adherence, and quality standards.

You will coordinate with project teams, manage budgets, schedules, RFIs, submittals, pay applications, and client communication, while mentoring junior staff and aligning with HITT’s safety and quality expectations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in commercial construction with a GC.
• Ability to execute multiple projects concurrently.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Familiarity with construction drawings and scheduling tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintain adherence to safety standards and required documentation.
• Create and manage project budgets for assigned projects.
• Develop and collaborate on pre-construction RFP packages.
• Conduct project meetings, set milestones, and prepare monthly owner reports.
• Establish job processes (RFIs, submittals, pay apps); approve pay apps and change orders.
• Perform scheduling; ensure quality control and logistics.
• Manage closeout processes.
• Engage clients to discuss needs and service delivery.
• Supervise assistant project staff and MEPr managers.
• Collaborate with site operations teams throughout the project life cycle.
