Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience operating and setting-up cold heading equipment.
• Experience in the Fastener industry is a plus.
• HS Diploma or GED or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Abides by all Safety practices put forth by the company.
• Operates single and multi-blow cold heading machines and troubleshoots as needed.
• Reads blueprints proficiently and ensures parts are made to print.
• Completes preventive maintenance before and after tooling changes.
• Inspects tooling and setup for quality and accuracy.
• Repairs/maintains tools and dies as required.
• Performs machine adjustments to produce quality parts.
• Safe operation of a lift truck; lift truck license preferred.
• Loads coils onto spool rack and prepares tooling.
• Trains and mentors lower level operators.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
