Job summary
Gann Academy in Waltham, MA seeks a dynamic and experienced Girls' JV Basketball Head Coach for the 2026 Winter Season. The coach will lead practices and games, develop players' skills, and foster teamwork in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
The season runs from November 16, 2026 to February 11, 2027. Weekly commitments are Mondays and Wednesdays 5:15–6:45 pm, and Tuesdays and Thursdays 3:55–5:00 pm; travel to away games will be required.
Qualifications
- Experience coaching basketball at the high school level is preferred.
- Ability to develop players’ skills and game understanding.
- Strong communication and leadership with student-athletes.
Responsibilities
- Lead girls JV basketball practices and games for the 2026 winter season.
- Plan and implement teaching strategies, drills, and game plans.
- Evaluate athlete performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with school staff and coordinate travel to away games.
