Job summary

Red Alpha is seeking a Principal Computer Network Exploitation Analyst with analytic development skills to support a high-visibility cyber sensor modernization program. The role focuses on analyzing network traffic protocols and developing Python code to identify and extract those protocols, leveraging a CNE/network analyst background.

Ideal candidates have extensive experience, a CS degree or equivalent, and an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.

Qualifications

• 20+ years of relevant experience.
• B.S. in CS or related discipline; four additional years of experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
• Experience with passive analysis of network traffic (pcap) using Wireshark.
• Familiarity with common network protocols (TCP, UDP, ICMP, HTTP, SMTP, SSH).
• Experience with protocol and file format parsing.
• Experience writing plugins and fingerprints in Agency processing system.
• Experience developing/scripting in Python.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance with Polygraph.
