Job summary

Danfoss Climate Solutions is seeking a CNC Programming Technician for the 1st shift in Tallahassee, FL. You will shape how products are machined on mills and lathes, lead programming efforts with Mastercam, and collaborate with engineers to optimize processes on the production floor.

You will mentor operators, implement fixturing and gauging improvements, and drive best practices to improve quality, uptime, and throughput in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on CNC programming and setup experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with Mastercam and CNC mills/lathes to optimize processes.
• Minimum five years in manufacturing with a track record of improving throughput.
• Knowledge of tooling, fixturing design, and inspection methods.
• Able to mentor operators and technicians on best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead CNC programming and process optimization for mills and lathes.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and drive improvements in uptime and cycle time.
• Design fixturing, tooling, and gauging to improve precision and repeatability.
• Collaborate with engineers and production teams on new product introductions.
• Develop clear work instructions and train operators for consistent quality.
• Apply structured problem-solving to reduce defects and scrap.
