Job summary

AWS Global Sales seeks a Principal Solutions Architect to drive technology adoption and revenue growth for automotive and manufacturing customers. You will act as a trusted advisor on IoT, edge computing, digital twins, Industry 4.0, and data analytics, shaping architectures across compute, storage, and networking.

You will mentor teams, deliver reference architectures, and align technical account plans with business goals while presenting at events and shaping roadmaps.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of technology domain experience (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering)
• Experience evangelising end-to-end technology roadmaps guiding IT transformations toward cloud computing
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent
• Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences and at C-level
• Working knowledge of at least two of IoT/edge computing, data analytics/data lakes, AI/ML, HPC, DevOps/CI-CD, or application modernization

Responsibilities

• Own the technical relationship with Automotive and Manufacturing accounts as primary technical contact
• Architect and design scalable, secure, cost-effective cloud solutions for data platforms, digital twins, MES/SCADA cloud integration
• Bridge IT and OT—connect enterprise IT with OT on the shop floor, at the edge, using AWS services
• Drive technical strategy by developing and executing technical account plans
• Lead POC engagements and architectural reviews to accelerate adoption
• Influence product roadmaps by partnering with AWS service teams
• Develop and scale industry thought leadership and reference architectures
• Present at AWS and industry events
• Mentor and elevate other Solutions Architects
• Think strategically about business, products, and technical challenges
