Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Lead Software Engineer, Cloud Platform in its Corporate AI and Machine Learning Data Platforms Team. You will provide technical leadership, design secure scalable cloud infrastructure, and advance DevEx practices across the platform.

The role focuses on modernizing SDLC, AI-assisted coding workflows, and cross-team collaboration. We value deep cloud experience (AWS/Azure/GCP), containerization, and strong programming skills in Golang or Python.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts.
• 5+ years of applied software engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Advanced knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS).
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Spinnaker, Bitbucket, GitHub).
• Strong cloud security practices and DevSecOps awareness.
• Programming skills in Golang or Python; solid dev practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership to the cloud engineering team.
• Lead design and development of secure, scalable cloud infrastructure and platform tools.
• Drive adoption of modern DevEx practices and evolve CI/CD and tooling.
• Align platform roadmaps with business priorities and modernize SDLC.
• Champion AI-assisted coding workflows and MCP/AI agent integrations.
