Job summary

Addison Group is seeking a Lead Cloud DevOps Engineer for a remote role based in the US. The position focuses on Azure-first cloud infrastructure, IaC, and strong DevOps/DevSecOps practices.

You will design, build, and own cloud initiatives, implement CI/CD pipelines, and ensure security, monitoring, and disaster recovery readiness. Eligible candidates must be authorized to work in the US, with hourly compensation ranging from $60 to $98 and a 6-month contract-to-hire path.

Job Title: Lead Cloud DevOps Engineer

Location: remote - Austin,TX

Compensation: $60 - $98/ hour depending on experience

Contract Length: 6-Months Contract to Hire

Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401K.

Must be authorized to work in the US. Position is not eligible for sponsorship

Top Technical Requirements:

• Microsoft Azure expertise (primary cloud platform)
• Experience designing, building, and managing cloud infrastructure
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools
• Automation and scripting experience:
  • PowerShell
  • Python
• Strong DevOps / DevSecOps background
• CI/CD pipeline creation and management
• Cloud networking, security, identity management, and access controls
• Monitoring, alerting, and performance optimization
• Incident response and disaster recovery planning
• Ability to work independently and own cloud initiatives

Strongly Preferred
