Job summary

Morningstar DBRS is seeking a senior CLO and structured credit professional to lead ratings analysis for CLOs, warehouses, and related transactions. This role emphasizes analytical leadership, client engagement, and mentoring junior analysts.

You will present to credit committees, develop pre‑sale reports, and collaborate with Morningstar DBRS teams to support surveillance and research. A strong background in CLOs and private credit is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in finance, accounting, business, economics or related discipline.
• 7+ years’ relevant experience in CLOs, structured credit, funds, BDCs or private credit ratings‑related work.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, graphs).
• Strong written and verbal communication for committee materials and reports.

Responsibilities

• Lead ratings analysis for CLOs, CLO warehouses, feeder fund debt, and related structured credit.
• Prepare for and lead management meetings; maintain issuer/client relationships.
• Present methodologies and transaction proposals to clients and internal committees.
• Mentor junior analysts and collaborate with Morningstar DBRS credit teams.
• Write research and participate in webinars, investor meetings and conferences.
