Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Hemet, CA is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Scientist for a part-time, Saturday-focused graveyard shift. The CLS will supervise staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and oversee quality assurance for complex testing and instrumentation.

This role requires CA licensure and a Bachelor's degree with relevant high-complexity testing experience. Duties include SOP development, maintenance of records, and collaboration with the laboratory director.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid CA Clinical Laboratory Scientist licensure to perform high complexity tests.
• Bachelor's degree in clinical laboratory science, medical technology or chemical, physical, or biological science with at least 1 year in high-complexity testing in the specialty or specialties of tests they will be performing.
• Familiarity with CLIA and CAP regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise laboratory staff, identify opportunities for improvements, and implement operational modifications.
• Perform a wide range of complex laboratory tests with a high degree of accuracy.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment and instruments.
• Ensure compliance with QA/QC protocols and safety policies.
• Maintain accurate test results and patient information records.
