Qualifications

• Experience planning, directing, and evaluating staff in a clinical lab context.
• Knowledge of Federal and state laws and regulations governing lab operations.
• Familiarity with quality management programs and accreditation processes.

Responsibilities

• Plan and assign work based on priorities and staff abilities.
• Ensure compliance with accrediting bodies and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee quality control across pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical processes.
• Manage fiscal matters, including budgeting and resource forecasting.
• Provide orientation, training, and competency assessment for staff.
