mycts is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Specialist Lead to supervise routine testing of biological specimens, review results, and maintain quality assessment data in a regulated laboratory setting.

The role requires CLIA high-complexity testing competency, state licensure where applicable, and experience coordinating workflows, training staff, and ensuring safe, confidential handling of samples.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biology or Chemistry or related science as required.
• At least 1 year of clinical laboratory experience in workflow coordination.
• Licensure/certification compliance with CLIA and SOP requirements.
• Demonstrated advanced clinical laboratory knowledge and competency.
• Experience with testing quality control, calibration, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Performs duties in compliance with SOPs and regulations; communicates issues to management.
• Maintains attendance and punctuality per policy.
• Liaises with vendors and clients to ensure quality service and customer satisfaction.
• Trains and mentors staff; supports workflow coordination.
• Oversees routine testing and QA; ensures proper records and confidentiality.
• Conducts competency assessments and staff training; documents actions.
