Salisbury VA is seeking a Supervisory Dietitian to lead the Clinical Nutrition section, providing professional and management support to staff and collaborating to improve patient experience.

The role includes supervising HR staffing and labor relations, developing evidence-based training, leading clinical nutrition operations, and ensuring regulatory compliance and quality improvement within the NFS department.

Responsibilities

• Provides clinical nutrition leadership serving as professional and technical advisor to staff and other health care professionals.
• Oversees HR staffing, employee relations and labor relations in Clinical Nutrition section.
• Exerts supervisory and personnel management authority in planning, directing, and assessing work of subordinate staff.
• Establishes a training plan for the clinical section based on evidence-based nutrition.
• Develops and leads clinical nutrition operations and establishes strategic goals aligned with department plans.
• Leads performance improvement efforts using quality improvement data to drive outcomes.
• Develops and updates policies and procedures and oversees regulatory compliance.
