Job summary

WinCo Foods in Arlington, TX is seeking a motivated Grocery Clerk/Cashier/Freight Stocker to support daily store operations. You’ll assist customers, stock shelves, operate the register, and help department managers with groceries or freight tasks.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, reliability, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, including nights and weekends. Food Handlers certification may be required by state law.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

• Prior experience in retail or grocery is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and provide friendly service.
• Perform clerk duties in grocery or freight departments.
• Lead customer service by addressing complaints and requests as needed.
• Monitor checkout lanes and overall customer flow.
• Keep work area clean and organized according to policy.
• Stock and rotate merchandise in assigned areas.
• Support supervisor with tasks and direction for other employees.
