Job summary

ABM US is seeking a reliable Lead to ensure facility operations follow policies and procedures at the Wilmington, IL location. The role coordinates daily operations by delegating assignments and providing guidance, with supervisory responsibility when the manager is absent.

The Shift Leader operates specialized equipment and handles cleaning chemicals to keep the facility safe and clean. This position offers 6:30pm–5:00am, 10-hour shifts, four-day work weeks.

Qualifications

• Reliable and capable Lead to ensure facility operations follow policies and procedures.
• Experience in janitorial or facilities management preferred.
• Ability to supervise and train staff across shifts.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily operations by delegating job assignments and providing guidance.
• Provide supervision at location when the Manager is not present.
• Demonstrate established standards to keep buildings/facilities clean and safe for workers and customers.
• Operate specialized equipment, handle cleaning chemicals, and support general janitorial duties as needed.

Job description

Pay: $18.50/hr
