Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking a reliable Lead to oversee facility operations at an assigned site in Phoenix, AZ. You will delegate tasks, supervise staff when managers are away, and ensure cleanliness, safety, and compliance with policies.

The role involves operating equipment, handling cleaning chemicals, and supporting general janitorial duties. Pay is $18.00–$18.40 per hour, with ABM’s comprehensive benefits and veteran-friendly culture.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma, GED, or college degree is not required.
• Preferred: 1 year of similar work experience.
• Preferred: 1 year of customer service experience.
• Preferred: 1 year of lead or supervisory experience.
• Valid Driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Oversee and perform cleaning operations in assigned building.
• Follow assigned work schedules, route cards as directed.
• Provide leadership and direction to team members.
• Maintain open communication between field employees and management, monitor client communications.
• Assist with making daily and weekly work schedules
• Oversee and perform cleaning operations in assigned building
• Handle keys and access cards for the property
• Report damaged, broken and out of work features/items
• Oversee and perform additional service requests (tag job) in assigned building
• Oversee quality of jobs and confirm completion with Area Manager.
• Provide training for all new hires assigned to the building in accordance with onboarding procedures.
• Complete and validate time records for regular or subcontractor employees.
• Check supplies, equipment, and chemicals weekly.
• Miscellaneous duties as assigned.
