Job summary

ABM is seeking a reliable Lead to supervise facility operations on the 1st shift (Wed-Sun) at our Allentown location. You will delegate tasks, coordinate daily activities, and ensure adherence to safety and cleaning standards.

The ideal candidate has supervisory experience, strong communication, and a commitment to quality. You will train new hires, manage schedules, and maintain accurate time records while supporting a safe, efficient work environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma, GED, or college degree is not required.
• Prefer 1 year of similar work experience and 1 year of customer service experience.
• Prefer 1 year of lead or supervisory experience and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Follow assigned work schedules and route cards as directed; report barriers.
• Provide leadership and direction to team members.
• Maintain open communication between field employees and management; document client communications.
• Assist with creating daily and weekly work schedules.
• Oversee cleaning operations in the assigned building; ensure quality and safety.
• Manage keys and access cards for the property; report damaged items.
• Oversee additional service requests (tag job) as needed.
• Ensure completion of jobs and confirm with Area Manager.
• Provide training for new hires in onboarding procedures.
• Complete and validate time records for regular or subcontractor staff.
• Check weekly supplies, equipment, and chemicals.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Job description

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Lead to ensure all facility operations follow policies and procedures. They coordinate daily operations by delegating job assignments and providing guidance. A Lead provides supervision at an assigned location when the Manager is not present. The Shift Leader demonstrates established standards to keep the buildings/facilities clean and safe for all workers and customers. This role involves operating specialized equipment, handling cleaning chemicals, and supporting general janitorial duties as needed.

1st shift Wed - Sun

$25.00 - $28.00 per hour
