Job summary

A leading industrial contractor in Albany, Oregon is seeking a qualified civil/structural engineer to lead design teams and manage engineering deliverables for heavy industrial projects. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Science degree in civil or structural engineering and relevant experience. Responsibilities include overseeing design processes, mentoring team members, and ensuring project quality. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering with experience in heavy industry.
• Professional Engineer License is preferred.
• Good understanding of design code standards (ASME, ASCE, ACI, AISC, IBC).
• Ability to organize and instruct the work of subordinates.
• Demonstrate effective interpersonal skills at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural design teams and deliver civil/structural engineering outputs.
• Monitor and report on the status of design projects.

• Provide technical support on construction or operating sites.
• Assist in recruitment of design team staff.
