Job summary

EnergySolutions is seeking an experienced civil/CS&A engineer to design, plan, and oversee projects from concept through construction. Depending on seniority, the role may supervise teams and manage design media, ensuring compliance with codes and client requirements.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, at least 10 years of experience, and may hold a Professional Engineer license. Proficiency in FEA, civil design software, and MS Office is essential.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related technical degree (or equivalent).
• Certifications: Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred.
• Required Experience: Minimum of 10 years experience.
• Strong communication skills to present design media to clients and customers.
• Advanced knowledge of FEA and civil design software and MS Office.
• Strong knowledge of codes, regulations and management of complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering calculations using traditional methods or FEA to document code compliance.
• Produce layout plans, foundation details, steelwork details and architectural features.
• Lead designers and possibly act as Lead Discipline Engineer or Engineering Manager on projects.
• Support installation and testing of site systems and components.
• Participate in cost estimates and coordinate work with other disciplines to meet schedules.
