Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering or equivalent required.
• 5+ years of engineering experience with increasing responsibility.
• Experienced with AutoCAD for land development.
• Proficient in Civil 3D for site design and modeling.
• Strong communication and report writing skills.
• Ability to interpret zoning ordinances and permitting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare analyses, designs, calculations, and reports for project reviews.
• Design grading, drainage, and site drainage plans.
• Design sanitary, water, fire protection, and storm networks.
• Perform hydrology/hydraulic calculations for piping systems.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate design solutions.
• Prepare drawings, calculations, and specs using design software.
• Assist in proposals and fee estimates for small projects.
• Respond to RFIs, visit sites, review submittals, and coordinate revisions.
• Deliver project presentations to clients and staff.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
• Prepare plan reviews and permit applications; analyze land use.
• Attend public meetings to represent project interests.
