Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Project Engineer for its Community Development team in Pasadena, CA. This role collaborates across disciplines on western US projects and serves as technical lead for civil design, grading, drainage, and stormwater modeling.

Responsibilities include preparing construction documents, coordinating with geomatics, and mentoring junior staff while managing scope, budget, and schedule. A PE license and 8+ years of local project experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering.
• Licensed Professional Engineer. Minimum 8 years of experience.
• Local project resume and experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical lead for the project team responsible for civil design and hydrology modeling.
• Prepare construction documents and estimates.
• Coordinate with geomatics and external stakeholders.
• Lead preparation and coordination of project specifications and documents.
• Mentor and lead junior staff.
