U.S. Department of the Interior's Western Colorado Area Office in Grand Junction seeks a Supervisory Civil Engineer to lead O&M and Safety of Dams programs, coordinate design, inspections, and project management for water resources facilities. You will supervise a multidisciplinary team and provide technical leadership to facility managers and engineers.

Eligibility requires U.S. citizenship, background investigation, and potential supervisory probation.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required for Federal position with no substitution.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain security/background clearance.
• Experience in leadership and supervision of civil engineering teams preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead planning, implementation, and oversight of O&M and Safety of Dams programs for water resource facilities.
• Direct and perform professional civil engineering analyses, inspections, and evaluations of dams, canals, pipelines, and related infrastructure.
• Manage projects by establishing priorities, scopes, schedules, cost estimates, and technical requirements; ensure project execution.
• Provide technical leadership and oversight through review/approval of analyses, designs, and inspection reports; advise facility managers and engineers.
• Supervise and develop a multidisciplinary workforce, planning work, evaluating performance, recruiting, and fostering a safe work environment.
