The City of Weslaco is seeking a City Engineer to oversee planning, design, construction, and maintenance of municipal infrastructure including roads, bridges, water and sewer systems, drainage projects and public buildings. This role ensures compliance with safety regulations, environmental policies, and city planning goals, working with officials, contractors, and the public.

Competenze

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Licensed Professional Engineer in Texas (PE) preferred.
• Experience managing public works or utilities projects.

• Oversee design of public works and facilities within the capital program.
• Manage budget planning and grant administration for projects.
