Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Background check required.
• Knowledge of Georgia DECAL and Quality Rated guidelines or ability to meet them.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Passion for early childhood education and the social-emotional well-being of young children.

Responsibilities

• Support the Assistant Teacher in daily care of children.
• Ensure classroom environment is safe, clean, and engaging, aligned with Georgia DECAL and Quality Rated standards.
• Collaborate to implement an age-appropriate curriculum promoting sensory exploration, early communication, and gross motor development.
• Observe and document developmental milestones and maintain regular communication with families.
• Comply with licensing and program guidelines related to health, safety, and sanitation.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and training for Quality Rated compliance.
