Job summary

United States Army Installation Management Command at Fort Myer, VA seeks a Lead Child and Youth Program Assistant CY-02 to guide staff in delivering developmentally appropriate care for children aged 6 weeks to 18 years within CYS programs. The position is regular full-time with a 40-hour workweek and benefits.

Applicants should provide proof of education; training certificates such as Foundation IDP or equivalent may be requested.

Qualifications

• Proof of education is required at the time of application.
• Education must be directly related to the position to be filled.
• If qualifying via DoW approved competency training courses, supply one of: a completed Foundation IDP; a signed Foundation certificate; a memorandum with supervisor's contact information; VLS certificates (IDP not required).

Responsibilities

• Serves as a team leader ensuring staff provide appropriate developmental care and instruction for children and youth from 6 weeks to 18 years.
