Qualifications

• High school diploma required; CPR/First Aid and related safety training must be completed within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum 2 years in a licensed childcare program.
• Experience working with diverse populations preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office products.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety by supervising children and meeting staff ratios.
• Plan, develop, and implement lesson plans following YMCA curriculum guidelines.
• Submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports as assigned.
• Maintain site records including policies, schedules, and enrollment information.
• Provide coverage and arrange substitutes as needed.
• Communicate with supervisor about parent concerns and center operations.
• Administer First Aid when required.
• Promote activities and distribute site newsletters to families.
• Follow licensing requirements and quality guidelines.
