Responsibilities

• Supervises cooks and other associates in preparing, cooking and serving food; ensures sanitation and customer service standards.
• Supervises hourly kitchen staff including interviewing, scheduling, payroll, training and performance reviews.
• Efficiently prepares high-quality food according to recipes to meet production and service schedules.
• Ensures proper presentation, portion control and serving temperatures.
• Keeps track of food use, waste and inventory; inspects incoming products.
• Maintains sanitation of equipment and work areas; supports recipe and menu development.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
