The Lead MA will oversee daily operations, ensure precise EMR documentation, and coordinate clinical staff to optimize patient flow and experience. A CMA certification and 2+ years of clinical experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of clinical experience.
• Current CMA Certification or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of experience in Urology or Gynecology field.
• Preferred experience in high-volume clinical settings.
• Working knowledge of EMR system/program.

Responsibilities

• Lead the clinical team including MAs, sonographers, and support staff to manage clinic flow.
• Ensure accurate documentation and charting in the EMR.
• Coordinate patient care and communication between patients and providers.
• Monitor patient flow and optimize clinic operations for efficiency.

Job Title – Position Description:Lead Medical Assistant

Reports to:Clinic and ASC Site manager

MISSION

The Lead Medical Assistant (MA) is responsible for creating an exceptional patient experience while providing competent and compassionate care to every patient. The Lead MA role is fluid and versatile with progressively increasing responsibilities including helping direct efficiencies and maintaining high standards for EMR documentation in the clinic and ASC.

OUTCOMES

• In a fast paced and high volume work environment, acquire and analyze accurate clinical information from the patient’s chart, guide the clinical staff (MAs, sonographers, FOC) according to information gathered from the multiples sources, and to effectively communicate the information to clinical staff and providers to manage the flow of clinic.
• Able to acquire, analyze, and provide accurate clinical information to the medical team in a timely manner, while maintaining accurate patient charting in a fast paced and high volume work environment.
• Constantly monitor the patient and work-flow to keep the clinic functioning effectively and efficiently, while disseminating the appropriate tasks to each member of the team in a clear, compelling, and objective manner.
