Job summary

HCA HealthONE Swedish is hiring a Lead Cat Scan Technologist to oversee the CT department, mentor staff, and manage daily workflow. The role emphasizes leadership, high throughput, and patient care aligned with HealthONE/HCA standards.

Responsibilities include coordinating exams, ensuring safety and accuracy, and supporting the CT supervisor. ARRT CT certification and BLS are required, with at least two years in CT imaging and a strong teamwork focus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a 24-month AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Current ARRT (R)(CT) certification REQUIRED and CE compliant.
• Current BLS Healthcare Provider certification through AHA or ARC.
• Two years Cat Scan experience required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Cat Scan department and delegate daily activities.
• Coordinate and optimize workflow to maximize throughput of exams.
• Provide training, guidance, and support to staff.

Job Summary And Qualifications

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for expert knowledge of all Cat Scan exams and procedures with emphasis on leadership qualities, by supporting the Cat Scan supervisor position. Employee is sought out by others for advice, training, and clarification of job related knowledge. Effectively communicates, coordinates, delegates, and assigns the daily activities of the Cat Scan department. Facilitates, organizes, and reviews the daily workflow to deliver maximal throughput of all Cat Scan exams and procedures on customers ranging in age from newborn to late adulthood. Prioritizes, motivates, and promotes quality patient care to support the Mission, Vision, and Values of HealthONE/HCA. Ensures facility technical and documentation expectations are consistent with TJC regulations and HealthONE/HCA standards. Positively demonstrates concern and consideration when interacting with patients, medical staff, and employees. Demonstrates independent critical thinking skills for daily activity and patient flow of the Cat Scan department and assumes accountability for personal and team contributions.
