Job summary

Sebring Design Build is seeking an experienced Lead Carpenter to lead high-quality residential remodeling projects in Franklin and Middle Tennessee. This hands-on role requires coordinating trade partners, solving field challenges, and maintaining craftsmanship and professionalism on every job site.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in residential remodeling or construction, strong finish and general carpentry skills, and a track record of leadership on site.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of residential remodeling or construction experience.
• Strong finish carpentry and general carpentry skills.
• Experience installing cabinetry, trim, doors, and other finish materials.
• Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings.
• Previous Lead Carpenter, Foreman, or field leadership experience preferred.
• Strong planning, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Professional communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to perform the physical duties required for residential construction work.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily field operations on residential remodeling projects.
• Perform and oversee framing, finish carpentry, cabinetry installation, trim, doors, and general carpentry.
• Read and follow construction plans and specifications.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and trade partners.
• Plan upcoming work to keep projects moving on schedule.
• Identify and resolve jobsite issues before they affect quality or timelines.
• Confirm work is properly prepared for the next trade.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized jobsite.
• Protect finished work and client property.
• Communicate professionally with homeowners and the project team.
• Complete punch-list items and support projects through final completion.

We are hiring an experienced Lead Carpenter to help lead high-quality residential remodeling projects throughout Franklin and Middle Tennessee.

We specialize in kitchens, bathrooms, additions, and whole-home remodels. We are looking for a hands-on carpenter who can lead daily jobsite activities, coordinate trade partners, solve field challenges, and maintain high standards for craftsmanship and professionalism.
