Job summary

Teksky LLC is seeking an experienced Lead Carpenter to oversee residential remodeling projects, primarily kitchens and bathrooms. You will lead hands-on carpentry work, read blueprints, and coordinate crews to deliver high-quality results on schedule.

The role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills, with a minimum of five years in residential remodeling and a commitment to safety and workmanship. This is a full-time on-site position with potential benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on residential remodeling experience.
• Strong finish carpentry and general carpentry skills.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand construction plans.
• Experience with scheduling and coordinating job-site activities.
• Good knowledge of residential construction trades and building codes.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work consistently.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, construction plans, and specifications.
• Perform rough framing, finish carpentry, trim work, and cabinet installation.
• Handle kitchen and bathroom demolition and remodeling tasks.
• Install doors, windows, crown molding, baseboards, fixtures, and hardware.
• Supervise crews and coordinate subcontractors on job sites.
• Review project plans, estimates, schedules, and scope of work.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Communicate with homeowners, address concerns, and manage expectations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.
• Train and guide other team members.
