Job summary

Foxx Construction is seeking an experienced Lead Foreman Carpenter to lead carpentry crews and oversee day-to-day field operations on construction projects. This role combines hands-on carpentry with coordinating crews, materials, schedules, and jobsite activities.

The ideal candidate will communicate effectively, lead by example, and ensure safety and quality from start to finish. The position requires strong leadership, planning, and problem-solving on both residential and commercial sites.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional carpentry/construction experience, preferably leading crews.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Experience leading crews and coordinating field operations.
• OSHA-10/OSHA-30 certification a plus.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, direct, and motivate carpentry crews on a daily basis.
• Assign work to carpenters and laborers based on project priorities and skill levels.
• Monitor productivity, workmanship, and jobsite performance.
• Train and mentor less-experienced carpenters and laborers.
• Maintain a professional, productive, and respectful jobsite environment.
• Coordinate daily activities with the Superintendent, Project Manager, subcontractors, and other trades.
