This hands-on role requires directing field crews, reading plans, and ensuring on-schedule progress with a strong emphasis on safety and quality in the field. The ideal candidate brings proven carpentry leadership, the ability to interpret blueprints, and a track record of coordinating with subcontractors to keep projects moving forward.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on carpentry and general construction experience.
• Experience leading or directing a construction crew.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Knowledge of construction methods, materials, tools and job-site safety.
• Clear communication skills and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct carpenters and field personnel on active job sites.
• Work hands-on while keeping the crew organized, productive, and on schedule.
• Read and interpret blueprints, plans, specifications, and construction documents.
• Perform and oversee carpentry work including framing, doors, windows, cabinetry, trim, and finish work.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and other trades to maintain project sequence.
• Monitor workmanship to meet quality standards and safety procedures.
