Job summary

Lowney's Landscaping Center Inc. is seeking a Lead Carpenter to head upscale outdoor living projects in Wisconsin. This role focuses on leading from the front, interpreting blueprints, and delivering decks, pergolas, and other carpentry features with exceptional craftsmanship.

You will plan and supervise daily site activities, ensure safety, coordinate with clients and team, and drive on-time, high-quality results in a weather-dependent environment.

Qualifications

• Proven carpentry experience in outdoor construction, decks, pergolas, or similar projects.
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the construction of custom outdoor living projects, including decks, pergolas, and other high-end carpentry features.
• Manage projects from blueprint interpretation through final installation with emphasis on quality and detail.
• Plan daily job-site activities, delegate tasks, and drive productivity to meet timelines.
• Cut, shape, and assemble materials with precision to deliver exceptional finished products.
• Ensure all work meets company standards, client expectations, and project specifications.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site while enforcing safety protocols.
• Oversee tools and equipment use and maintenance by the team.
• Manage materials, including ordering, handling, and storage to minimize waste.
• Communicate effectively with team members and leadership to keep projects on track.
• Troubleshoot on-site challenges and make real-time decisions to maintain progress and quality.
• Contribute to project planning, layout, and execution to deliver outstanding results.
