Wolverine Construction in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a Lead Carpenter to guide Self-Perform Trade teams across West Michigan. You will supervise carpenters, read blueprints, and ensure safety and quality on diverse projects, from industrial to healthcare and office spaces.

Formación

• Minimum of ten years construction experience in rough and finish carpentry.
• OSHA 10-Hour certification or willingness to complete within six months.
• First Aid and CPR certification or completed within six months of hire.
• Willing and able to be trained on equipment; heavy machinery experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Examines blueprints, sketches or building plans to prepare project layout and determine dimensions and materials.
• Supervises work crews and completes daily, weekly tasks; tracks progress and safety.
• Reads and understands blueprints, shop drawings and specifications.
• Maintains clean, safe job sites and enforces safety rules and regulations.
• Plans, organizes and participates in project tasks; leads daily huddles and toolbox talks.
• Manages production and documents progress to meet or exceed budget goals.
• Maintains records for site personnel and production; ensures quality control.
