Job summary

Housing Solutions, Inc is a Hillsborough design/build remodeling company seeking an experienced Lead Carpenter to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is hard-working, positive, and dedicated to producing quality work with a great crew.

Responsibilities include installing interior trim and cabinetry, interior doors and pocket doors, hardware, framing, siding, and building stairs, while analyzing problems on-site and collaborating with customers and suppliers.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years experience as a full-time Carpenter in residential remodeling.
• Strong understanding of mathematical concepts and measurements.
• Ability to read and take action on blueprints.
• Ability to safely operate hand and power carpentry tools.
• Knowledge of building regulations and codes.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects.

• Installation of interior trim and built-in cabinetry
• Installation of interior doors and pocket doors
• Installation of door and cabinet hardware
• Miscellaneous framing, siding, and roofing on a small scale
• Window and exterior door installation
• Siding and exterior trim
• IPE decking installation
• Exterior railing construction
• Building stairs
• Screening porches
• Analyzing and solving problems on-site
• Interacting with customers, suppliers, and other construction professionals
• Framing experience and expertise is a PLUS

Qualifications:
