We're seeking a skilled and motivated Lead Carpenter to oversee and execute outdoor living construction projects. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who excels at both craftsmanship and leadership. The Lead Carpenter will be responsible for managing job sites, mentoring team members, and ensuring the successful completion of projects that exceed client expectations.

Responsibilities

• Lead construction teams on high-end outdoor living projects, ensuring work is completed on time and to our high standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints, layouts, and project specifications to ensure accuracy.
• Manage and mentor a small team of carpenters and entry-level crew members.
• Collaborate with project managers, designers, and clients to maintain clear communication and project efficiency.
• Solve on-site challenges and adapt to changes in real time.
• Maintain job site safety, cleanliness, and organization.
• Operate and maintain tools and equipment with precision and care.

Qualifications

• 5 or more years of carpentry experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong understanding of deck building, framing, and custom outdoor structures.
• Ability to read blueprints, measure accurately, and execute precision work.
• Experience leading a team and providing hands-on training to crew members.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record (company vehicle provided for job sites).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
