Job summary

Valtex LLC is seeking a Lead Carpenter to run field crews on commercial projects in Southwest Florida, based in Fort Myers. This hands-on leadership role requires strong carpentry skills, the ability to guide a lean team, and a commitment to safety and quality.

You will translate plans into actionable tasks, mentor apprentices, and coordinate with Superintendents on materials and schedules. A bilingual English/Spanish advantage is preferred. Full-time with occasional overtime.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on carpentry or general construction experience.
• Ability to direct, coordinate, and lead a field carpentry crew.
• Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting detailed architectural and structural plans.
• Reliable transportation to commute to designated regional projects.
• Total comfort working outdoors on active commercial job sites.
