Gravitics, Inc. seeks a Principal Mechanical Engineer for Cargo Systems to own the top-level mechanical design and CAD configuration of a cargo vehicle.

You will coordinate interfaces across subsystems, drive packaging trades, and mature the vehicle from concept through flight readiness. The role requires leading cross-functional teams, ensuring manufacturability, and working with manufacturing and test teams to resolve hardware issues.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
• 13+ years of mechanical/aerospace engineering experience.
• Expert 3D CAD with large assemblies (NX/SolidWorks/CATIA/Creo).
• Experience leading vehicle-level integration and interfaces.
• Strong GD&T knowledge and ASME Y14.5 experience.
• Ability to drive cross-functional decisions and leadership.

Responsabilidades

• Own and maintain the top-level CAD model and mechanical configuration.
• Develop vehicle layouts and packaging concepts meeting all requirements.
• Lead vehicle-level mechanical integration across subsystems.
• Define and manage mechanical interfaces and ICDs with teams.
• Drive packaging trades and resolve integration conflicts.
• Ensure configuration maturity from concept to flight readiness.
