Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Lead Caregiver in Colorado to serve as shift leader, ensuring consistent resident care and coaching the caregiving team. The role emphasizes professionalism, accountability, and compassionate service on every shift.

You will oversee attendance, coverage, and safety while supporting onboarding and ensuring documentation aligns with Individualized Service Plans. A strong focus on quality care and teamwork drives success in this frontline leadership position.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration certifications preferred.
• Strong communication, delegation, and decision-making skills expected.
• Experience in assisted living, memory care, or senior care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift assignments, manage attendance, and coordinate coverage.
• Provide hands-on ADL support when needed.
• Coach caregivers on quality, hospitality, and documentation standards.
• Review charting and ensure alignment with ISP.
• Monitor resident changes and communicate concerns promptly.
