Job summary

A Cardiothoracic Surgeon is sought for a private practice open-heart program in a diverse Chicago suburb, just 15 minutes from downtown. The position emphasizes majority Cardiac Surgery with 150-200 hearts annually, and DaVinci capability.

Leadership interest with 2 years of practice preferred; 1:4 shared call, strong Interventional Cardiology collaboration, and a full benefits package. Up to $1.3M salary for experienced surgeons, with a pathway to leadership and growth in the private practice

Qualifications

• Board-certified Cardiothoracic Surgeon required.
• Experience in open-heart and cardiac procedures preferred.
• Strong collaborative skills with Interventional Cardiology.

Responsibilities

• Perform open-heart and cardiac thoracic surgeries with volume 150–200 hearts annually.
• Develop thoracic case volume in a private practice setting.
• Participate in 1:4 shared call and lead clinical initiatives.
• Collaborate with Interventional Cardiology team and support DaVinci program.
