Job summary

Jet Aviation in the United States is seeking a Lead Captain to command safe, efficient flight operations as Pilot in Command across assigned flights, pre/post flight checks, flight planning, and weather analysis.

You will mentor crew, coordinate schedules and training, maintain in-depth systems knowledge, and ensure a high standard of safety and quality while representing Jet Aviation professionally on every trip.

Qualifications

• Airline Transport Pilot Certificate and FAA First Class Medical are required.
• Total fixed-wing time: 3,500 hours; 1,500 hours PIC; 1,500 hours Multi-Engine; 500 hours Turbo-Jet; 500 hours Turbine; 100 hours Night; 75 hours Simulated Instrument.
• Ability to travel extensively worldwide with no restrictions.
• High school diploma required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead with confidence to ensure safe, efficient flight operations including pre-flight and post-flight inspections, filing flight plans, and analyzing weather and route conditions to make informed decisions.
• Mentor and guide crew members to foster professional growth, conduct performance reviews, coordinate schedules and training.
• Maintain a complete working knowledge of all aircraft systems to operate with precision, manage flight plans, and adapt to changing conditions to guarantee a seamless travel experience.
• Promote a strong safety culture by adhering to best practices, conducting passenger briefings, and promptly addressing aircraft discrepancies in collaboration with maintenance teams.
• Manage trip documentation, maintain aircraft manuals, assist in crew hiring, and represent Jet Aviation with professionalism in all internal and external interactions.
• Be the face of Jet Aviation, showcasing professionalism and dedication to our mission of delivering exceptional service.
