Job summary

Camp Sewataro seeks a Group Leader to guide campers from preschool through middle school, supervise a team of assistant counselors, and foster a positive, developmental environment for each child.

You will lead activities, support behavior and social-emotional growth, and coach junior staff. This role emphasizes leadership, teamwork, and effective communication in a summer camp setting.

Qualifications

• Must be dependable and enthusiastic about working with children.
• CPR certification required.
• Previous experience in teaching, coaching, childcare, summer camps, or youth programs is preferred.

Our four sections include:

• Bear: 2nd–3rd grade

As a Group Leader, you'll lead a group of campers, supervise a team of assistant counselors, and create a positive environment where children develop confidence, independence, and friendships.

Who we're looking for

Dependable, enthusiastic individuals who enjoy working with children and are ready to lead a team. Previous experience in teaching, coaching, childcare, summer camps, or youth programs is preferred. CPR certification is required.
